Chicago’s Navy Pier celebrates Mother’s Day with Brunch, Music, and Flowers

On May 9, 2021, Navy Pier, a well-known tourist attraction in Chicago, celebrated Mother’s Day with a range of activities and festivities. Millions of people visit the 50-acre park known as the Pier, also known as the “People’s Pier,” each year.

A brunch cruise aboard the Spirit of Chicago, a virtual Mother’s Day performance, and a flower market where guests could buy gifts for their moms were just a few of the unique activities held at Navy Pier in honor of Mother’A Mother’s Day brunch cruise aboard The Spirit of Chicago, a luxurious boat that cruises on Lake Michigan, included a delectable buffet, great music, and breathtaking views of the Chicago cityscape.

Families celebrating Mother’s Day were given a special and unforgettable experience by the two-hour cruise that sailed from Navy Pier. The Chicago Children’s Choir hosted the virtual Mother’s Day event, which featured performances by a number of gifted young vocalists.

On the Navy Pier website and Facebook page, the event was live-streamed, allowing visitors to take in the music from the comfort of their own homes. There were many different kinds of lovely flowers available at the Navy Pier flower market, including peonies, tulips, and roses. To express their gratitude for their moms, visitors had the option of purchasing gift baskets, balloons, and other goods.

The Polk Bros. Park, a 13-acre green park with gorgeous landscaping and spectacular views of Lake Michigan, served as the venue for the flower market. Mother’s Day at Navy Pier was an all-around happy celebration of motherhood, with a variety of activities and festivities that brought families together to make priceless memories.
